Please consider being a Governor! We are always keen to hear from prospective applicants.
Governors are enthusiastic volunteers working in the best interests of our schools. They are parents, staff. members of the community. No previous experience is necessary, but a willingness to get involved and dedicate some of your free time on a regular basis to both schools is essential. The Local Governing Board regularly reviews its skill base to assess where it would benefit from expertise.
The National Governors' Association indicates that Governors should expect to spend between 10 and 20 days a year on their governing responsibilities. Visiting the schools (both Blisland and St Cleer) is part of the role, and some meetings are held during the working day.
Absolutely everyone interested in becoming involved is very welcome to find out more.
Please feel free to enquire - at school or via our Clerk Jessamie Thomas
Thank you!
Governors make a real difference to the outcomes of every pupil, so please do consider joining us!
