Mrs Amanda Godfrey
I have been in a secretarial role since I left college and have worked in a solicitors for several years and then for Cornwall Council since 2004. I have lots of interests including walking and spending valuable time with my family and friends.
Mrs Julie Pearce
I have lived in Blisland for the past 21 years and have been associated with Blisland School through my own children for the past 14 years and have been an active member of the PTA during their school years. I am passionate about the school and all it has to offer the children. I studied Child Psychology, Social Biology and Art at A Level and have recently attained my HLTA qualification. I enjoy an outdoors based lifestyle and both my children are members of the pony club and we are always busy on our small holding.
Mrs Katherine Chalkley
When I left school, I went to University in Manchester and there obtained a BSc Degree. I began my working life, however as a WPC in Bedfordshire although that seems a long time ago now!
When my children started school, I studied for a PGCE at Marjon’s in Plymouth. I taught Key Stage One pupils in Cornwall for five years before moving back to Bedfordshire. Here I continued to teach Key Stage One and Two pupils before specialising in teaching pupils with autism, communication and language difficulties.
We relocated back to Cornwall six years ago and I planned to live the “good life” growing vegetables, keeping chickens etc alongside renovating our house. I missed working with children though and being part of the life of the school. I am therefore delighted to be working with this great school team at Blisland.
At home I love spending time with my family, now extended to include two chocolate Labradors! I am very fond of the outdoors, especially walking and climbing and enjoy frequent visits to the Lake District. I also enjoy cooking and appreciate all the great fresh produce that we have here in Cornwall.
